Al-Awn Foundation for Development continues to conduct evaluation workshops for its 2026 projects as part of its approach to continuously reviewing implementation processes, measuring progress, assessing results, and identifying opportunities for improvement. These efforts aim to enhance project quality and ensure the achievement of project objectives with the greatest possible impact.

The latest phase of the workshops concluded with an evaluation of the “Awareness of Technical Education” project. The evaluation included a comprehensive review of the project, an assessment of implemented activities and interventions, and an examination of key achievements and implementation challenges. The sessions also provided an opportunity to discuss lessons learned and develop recommendations for improving the next phase and maximizing the project’s impact.

As part of expanding the evaluation process from the operational level to the strategic level, the Foundation also conducted a strategic workshop to review its interventions in the technical education sector for the 2024–2028 period, with the participation of key implementing partners: almanzumaorg, Nibras Development Association, and Volunteers Foundation for Development.

The workshop aimed to review the strategic directions and objectives of the Foundation’s interventions in the technical education sector, align the vision of the Foundation and its partners, identify priorities for the upcoming phase, and strengthen coordination and complementarity among the various roles and efforts.

Al-Awn Foundation for Development emphasizes that evaluation is not merely the final stage of a project, but an essential tool for learning, improvement, and informed development decision-making. It helps ensure that resources are directed toward priority areas, challenges are addressed effectively, and the sustainability of development impact is strengthened.

These workshops reflect the Foundation’s commitment to continuously improving its working approaches, strengthening partnerships with implementing organizations, and translating evaluation findings and lessons learned into practical actions that contribute to developing higher-quality, more effective, and more sustainable interventions in the next phase.
