Funded by Al-Awn Foundation for Development: Conclusion of the Specialized Dental Clinic in Al-Hajrain, Doan

The activities of the Specialized Dental Clinic in the Al-Hajrain area of Doan District have concluded, as part of the "Days of Giving" initiative by graduates of the New Horizon Leaders Program (NAHL). This humanitarian gesture aimed to provide high-quality medical services to the local community.

The clinic was implemented under the supervision of the Doan District Office of the Ministry of Public Health and Population, with the generous funding of Al-Awn Foundation for Development, and executed by the Horizon Leaders for Youth Development Capacities Foundation (HLDYC Foundation), in cooperation with the Comprehensive Primary Healthcare Center in Al-Hajrain.

The clinic was led by Dr. Faez Saleh Alhamed, Assistant Professor of Oral Surgery at Qatar University and holder of a PhD in Craniofacial Sciences from McGill University in Canada. Dr. Alhamed dedicated his academic and professional expertise to serving patients through a range of specialized services, including:

  • Free specialized consultations

  • Surgical tooth extractions

  • Oral disease treatments

  • Dental trauma management

  • Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder treatments

The clinic received a number of patients, offering them free and high-quality treatment services, embodying a spirit of giving and humanitarian service.

This initiative reflects the vision of the NAHL Program, which aims to transform academic training into practical initiatives that positively impact communities and enhance the developmental role of scientific expertise in the field.
