The Tadamon Development Forum 2025 convened with broad official participation from the local authorities, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, civil society representatives, and partners from the public and private sectors. The forum provided a national platform to advance coordinated efforts that support recovery, resilience, and sustainable development in Yemen.

Throughout the forum, participants underscored the central role of local organizations in driving community-level development and contributing to inclusive and sustainable progress. Discussions highlighted the importance of strengthening institutional capacities, enhancing governance systems, and improving organizational sustainability—key elements that align with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 16 on effective, accountable institutions and SDG 17 on revitalizing global partnerships.

Sessions further explored challenges related to financial sustainability, with a focus on diversifying funding mechanisms and developing adaptive financial strategies that enable organizations to operate effectively in complex and evolving contexts. These discussions contribute to SDG 8 on productive employment and sustainable economic growth.

The forum also facilitated structured dialogue between government entities, the private sector, and civil society, reinforcing the value of cross-sector collaboration in advancing development priorities. Such cooperation supports progress toward SDG 11 on resilient and sustainable communities and strengthens the broader enabling environment for development action.

In recognition of national efforts to promote effective coordination, the forum honored the Directors-General of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor offices for their contributions to advancing coherence between governmental and civil society initiatives. An accompanying exhibition showcased partnerships under the Tadamon Project, including private-sector contributions to sustainable development, reflecting the shared commitment to accelerating progress across multiple SDGs.
