Al-Awn Foundation for Development Supports Introductory Orientation for the “Nahl” Scholarship Program 2025, Advancing Quality Education and Youth Empowerment
In line with its commitment to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—particularly SDG 4: Quality Education—Al-Awn Foundation for Development supported the introductory orientation for students accepted into the 2025 cycle of the Nahl Scholarship Program, organized by Qadat Al-Ufuq Foundation in the cities of Mukalla and Seiyun.
The event reflects the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to expand access to higher education, empower youth, and strengthen national capacities in key educational specializations, the Yemeni Fellowship Program, and the Arab Board, thereby contributing to the development of future leaders capable of driving sustainable progress.
During the orientation, Eng. Shehab Al-Saggaf, Programs and Projects Officer at Al-Awn Foundation, presented an overview of the evolution of the Nahl Program and its role in ensuring equitable learning opportunities that enhance students’ academic development. Additionally, Eng. Ghazal Bakhadir, Nahl Program Officer, provided a detailed explanation of the enrollment process through the program’s digital portal and the services made available to support students throughout their academic journey.
In his remarks, Mr. Mohammed Al-Sabban, Director of Programs and Projects at Al-Awn Foundation for Development, emphasized the importance of investing in education as a key pillar for sustainable development, noting that academic support for students helps build a qualified generation capable of addressing future challenges.
The orientation concluded with the signing of scholarship agreements with the newly accepted students, marking the beginning of their educational journey with the support of Al-Awn Foundation for Development and reaffirming the Foundation’s commitment to promoting education and human development.
