Al-Awn Foundation Signs Strategic Agreements to Support Education and Institutional Development
On Sunday, 11 January 2026, Alawn Foundation for Development signed a package of strategic agreements in the city of Mukalla with several of its implementing partners, as part of its approved projects for 2026 and within the framework of the third strategic year of its 2024–2028 Strategy, which aims to enhance the quality of education and achieve sustainable developmental impact.
The agreements included the signing of an agreement to operate and develop the Salem Bin Mahfouz Private Schools Project, with the objective of ensuring the continuity of the educational process, providing a safe and motivating learning environment, and enhancing administrative and operational efficiency in a way that serves students and the wider community.
In addition, Alawn Foundation signed four agreements with Estidama Foundation for Capacity Development to implement a set of qualitative projects aimed at empowering civil society organizations, strengthening their institutional capacities, and supporting financial sustainability. These projects include income diversification and resource development, institutional empowerment and systems development, the “Tadamon” Project, as well as a project focused on organizational development.
In the same context, Alawn Foundation also signed four agreements with Al-Manthouma Foundation for Development to implement development projects in the field of technical and vocational education. These projects focus on developing the solar energy specialization, rehabilitating teaching staff, developing curricula, and strengthening the institutional structure of the foundation.
These agreements reaffirm Alawn Foundation’s commitment to developing effective operational models and building sustainable development partnerships that contribute to improving educational outcomes and supporting community development pathways.
