As part of the activities of the “Awareness of Technical Education” project funded by Al-Awn Foundation for Development, Volunteers Foundation organized the first interactive dialogue salon under the title: “Your Profession in Your Hands, and Your Future is Secured”, with the participation of stakeholders interested in technical education, economic development, and youth empowerment.

The salon hosted Eng. Sami Saleh Al-Nahdi, Director of the Labor Market and Private Sector Department at the Ministry Office, alongside Mr. Abdullah Salem Babair, Branch Manager of Amjad Islamic Microfinance Bank, who presented inspiring practical experiences and success stories on linking vocational skills with employment and financing opportunities.

The session featured in-depth discussions on mechanisms for aligning technical education outcomes with actual labor market needs, as well as the importance of strengthening partnerships between educational institutions and the private sector to create sustainable economic opportunities for youth.

Participants also highlighted the role of microfinance as an effective tool for transforming vocational skills into productive and sustainable projects capable of achieving economic stability, emphasizing the importance of investing in youth capacities and empowering them with the tools for professional success amid current challenges.

This dialogue salon comes within the broader efforts of the “Awareness of Technical Education” project, which aims to promote the culture of technical and vocational education and raise community awareness of the importance of professional skills in building a more sustainable economic future for young people.
