The training program (improving business development skills and financial education) funded by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) in partnership with Al-Awn Foundation for Development, on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) was concluded in Mukalla.

 

 

 

 

At the closing ceremony, the technical representative of Hadramout Governorate, Eng. Amin Barzeeq, pointed out the importance of this training program, which gives young people skills in financial management and the first foundations for establishing and managing small projects in light of the economic conditions that the country suffers from and the limited job opportunities for young people.

 

 

 

 

In turn, the Director General of the Office of Social Affairs and Labor in Hadramout Coast, Mr. Ahmed Bazarous, praised the training program, which is considered one of the most successful training programs embodied in an effective partnership between local and international organizations in covering societal needs and supporting state institutions with development programs that achieve the goals set for them.

 

 

 

 

For his part, the consultant of the psep project in Hadramout of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), Eng. Muhammad Al-Awaini, reviewed the stages and objectives of the project through the graduation of 460 young men and women with business development skills and financial education.

 

 

 

 

To that, the Acting Executive Director of the Aid Foundation, Mr. Abdullah Muqidhan, emphasized the success of the partnership between the Foundation and GIZ through this development project that targeted the backbone of the "youth" communities to push them towards small projects to contribute to strengthening the national economy in light of these difficult circumstances that the country is going through. .

 

 

 

 

Engineer Badr Al-Mashjari, project manager, reviewed the training stages and the implementation mechanism, which started in mid-October of last year, until the program ends in mid-April to complete six months, from which Hadramout youth of both sexes benefited from the coast and the valley with various training packages in financial management, management of small projects and methods of their development.

 

 

 

 

The closing ceremony included a visual presentation of the success story of the training program, culminating in the graduation of this cohort of hundreds of young people in the field of business development and financial education.
