Signing of the Community Healthcare Project Agreement

Al-Awn Foundation for Development and Rouh Health Foundation have signed an agreement to implement the Community Healthcare Project as part of their joint efforts to mitigate the country's humanitarian crisis and enhance healthcare services.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Abdellah Bin Othman, Executive Director of Al-Awn Foundation for Development, representing the funding entity, and Dr. Mohammed Bajarsh, Executive Director of Rouh Health Foundation, representing the implementing entity, in the presence of several officials from both organizations.

The project aims to strengthen healthcare services in remote areas and displacement camps, rapidly respond to urgent health needs, and provide medical support to travelers passing through the Al-Wadiah border crossing.

Dr. Abdullalah Bin Othman emphasized that this project continues the efforts of Al-Awn Foundation for Development and Rouh Health Foundation in providing health and humanitarian support to those in need across the country. He highlighted the project's significance in improving the health conditions of affected communities and enhancing the healthcare system’s capacity to respond to crises.

The project includes key programs such as strengthening reproductive health and primary healthcare services in remote areas, responding to urgent health needs in displacement camps, providing emergency response to disasters and natural crises, and offering medical services to travelers through the Al-Wadiah crossing.

It is worth noting that the foundation is currently signing agreements for projects to be funded in 2025 as part of its new strategic vision, which was launched at the beginning of last year.
